New Divisions

Ok. Battlefront isn't as popular as it used to be. In at least a few years, it will undoubtedly be dead. We need to expand our horizons on other games most of us have. So go ahead and list some of your games you like to play. Right now I can't do that because I have to eat.

I know that USAF is looking into COD4, we always have SWBF2.

I mainly play games on the 360, but i do have halo 2 and shadow run for PC.

Hehe, a game i'm REALLY looking foreward to (with a few of my outside-of-computer-land-friends) is gonna be Armed Assault 2. Idk if I'll get the PC or Xbox version, seeing as, i don't own a 360, and have considered getting one. regardless, that game is going to be awesome. I think it's slated to come out early 2009.

BONUS: I think it has a rather large european community too, for all you non-Americans/Canadians/Mexicans(?) out there .

What do you think it's going to be rated?

Not positive, but probably M (more detailed graphics and such). The whole rating thing used to be a problem for me, but I'm almost freaking 16...I think I can handle watching some pixels simulate blood if i'm capable of driving

I just noticed there's an Operation Flashpoint 2...THAT'S AWESOME! OP: Flashpoint is like, the king of all these realistic military games. Armed Assault was kind of a spiritual successor, but gee, if they're making a second Flashpoint...

Oh choices, choices. ArmA 2 or OP:F 2?

How many people here have a 360? How many of our long time members have a 360? How many have the same game for 360?

I've got a 360

Vader, don't try to write it off just because you don't have a 360. A few people do to be honest, Soul, GLX, Koffee and Stinger (I think). And it's the same situation for new divisions on PC, how many of us have the same game, very few. So we would have to rely on a few members to kick off the division.

We couldn't start a 360 division with only a few members. We would have a lot better chance with staying on the pc and having the same game. Even if some members had to get a new game, it'd be cheaper for pc than 360.

True But all clans start with few members thats why we progress to build the clan

I don't own a 360 either, but I'm arguing that a 360 division should not be written off, all clans start off with only a few members, and so do divisions, the entire clan doesn't need to have a 360 to be part of it, if we have a 360 and a PC division it can only make us stronger.

I don't think that we should be centered around a new division if a lot of our old, loyal members can't join in. But if it's just a side thing, that's ok.

I was never arguing for us to be a 360 based clan, that is wrong, JMS has always been a PC clan, and should remain so, but a 360 division is a side one, which is, at the end of the day, upto GLX.

Well, I love BF1 and it's my fav game. But, I also play guild wars and bf2.

I Think We Should Move into xbox 360 as some of the old members play it so we ruffly have half and half. But Really i would like to participate in both areas plus it will make us stronger and you never no we could get xbox 360 players to allso join our pc divisions but GLX its on your hands.

P.S. if we do move into xbox 360 i have 7 members waiting plus if so could i run it or help run it if possible

I think GLX would be the one running it. Seen as he's got a 360, and he IS the Clan Leader after all...

Ditto. i say (although i hold no authority) that we wait to get another 2 360 players if you want to start another new division. I don't have a 360 and i won't be getting it anytime soon. I wish they came out with swbf for PS3. That would give me a little more of a push to buy the system.

Quik, if you'd read all the posts, maybe you would have noticed there's actually about ~10 people willing to do a 360 division, if Stinger can get them to join, which sounds like a possibility.

Well, the most logical move would be to expand to swbf2, i'm sure most of you already have it?

We already have a SWBF2 division, and your logic is wrong, logically we would move to a game with a large online community such as COD4, while SWBF2 has nowhere near as large a community.

Well, there are a couple of free mmo's i can suggest.

*Drift city: mmo driving game. You can race other players and it has a built in clan system.

8Combat arms: mmo fps. Its like warrock (if you have ever played that but not as many hackers [more like 1 out of 15 servers]) and its got updates coming out because it just recently came out. [I highly recommend this one.

*Gunz: The duel: third person shooter. It has swords and things like that. Its more of one on one fighting with things like wall walking, diving, and other acrobatic moves. No clan system.
